Ingredients
350F, 9x13" or two 9" parchment bottom
1) 242g sourdough starter discard
1) 225g whole milk
1) 240g all-purpose flour
2) 298g granulated sugar
2) 176g canola oil
2) 2 tsp. (8g) vanilla extract
2) 1 ½ tsp. (9g) baking soda
2) ¾ cup (54g) natural unsweetened cocoa powder
2) 1 tsp. (1.4g) instant coffee, + 2g water
2) 1 tsp. (6g)
3) 2 large eggs

In a bowl combine (1) and let it sit for 3 hours at room temperature.

6:45pm

In a mixing bowl combine (2) and mix then add (3) one at a time then add in (1)

Ensure mixture is thoroughly mixed.

Pour batter into 9x13" pan

Bake at 350F for 40 minutes. Put a sheet pan under the rack below it.

2) 1 tsp. (4g) vanilla extract
2) ¾ tsp. (4.5g) baking soda
2) 27g natural unsweetened cocoa powder
2) ½ tsp. (0.7g) instant coffee, + 1g water
2) ½ tsp. (3g) salt
3) 1 large egg

In a bowl combine (1) and let it sit for 3 hours at room temperature.

In a mixing bowl combine (2) and mix then add (3) one at a time then add in (1)

Ensure mixture is thoroughly mixed.

Pour batter (615g) into 9" pan

Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. Put a sheet pan under the rack below it.
