1) 2 ¼ cup (317g) all-purpose flour
1) 1 tsp. baking soda
1) 1 tsp. salt
2) 226g (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened
2) 4.62 oz (131g) demerara brown sugar
2) 3.08 oz (85g) white sugar
2) 2 large egg
2) 1 tsp. vanilla extract
3) 2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Double Chocolate version: For every cup of flour, replace 3 tablespoons of it with cocoa powder. Visually doesn't look very good and not chocolately enough, would not make again.

Combine (1) set aside.

Beat (2) at med-high speed, set to low speed and add in the dry ingredients (1) in three portions then add chocolate chips (3)

Weigh 20g (1 tbsp) dough for each cookie, bake at 375F for 8 minutes.

Cool cookies on sheet.
