1) 9 cups (150g) popcorn (1/3 cup kernels)
2) 6 tbsp. (84g) salted butter
2) 3/4 cup (120g) brown sugar
2) 3 tbsp. (63g) corn syrup
3) ¼ tsp. vanilla extract
3) ¼ tsp. baking soda
4) 120g salted peanuts (optional)

Get popcorn (1) ready.

In a sauce pan heat (2) over medium heat until mixture boils. Continue boling without stirring for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat add (3) and pour mixture over popcorn with peanuts; stir to gently coat.

Bake at 300F for 15 minutes. Stir then bake for another 5 minutes.

Cool and store in airtight container.
